Very tasty Essem (home-style cooking), extremely friendly and flexible service (tries to fulfill every guest's request), nice atmosphere, great beer garden. I'll be back.

The service is already overwhelmed with just a few tables. Quality and taste are mediocre at best, but you don't have to go to a restaurant for that. We did without dessert.

Very delicious food and you sit very nicely under the linden tree.

The food is superbly prepared, the portions always generous and very tasty - menu up and down. The selection of dishes is remarkably diverse, as is the selection of drinks. Thanks to the imaginative layout (not "square, practical, good" as so often to be found), the lime tree sits very attractively and is always comfortable due to the sufficient distance between the tables. The three "levels", the tree in the entrance area and the separet, which can be reserved if necessary and can be separated from the main guest room by sliding walls, create an excellent feeling of wellbeing among the guests, which is only surpassed by the extremely friendly and courteous handling of the service. The outdoor area not only leaves nothing to be desired, it is fantastic. You sit under the lime tree, steeped in history in Sulzbach, decorated with fairy lights for the late evening, protected by the large parasols when the weather is fine. And in one of the quietest places in Sulzbach. No car traffic lies over the lovely splashing of the fountain in front of the handsome wooden fence and lavishly planted partitioning of the outside area. Looking into the evening sun at an angle, no wishes remain unfulfilled for guests, some of which can be recognized by the license plates of the cars in the more than sufficient parking spaces around the linden tree coming from further away. Unfortunately, more than 5 stars cannot be rated on this platform.

Been there for the first time yesterday. Selection great, sometimes not so common things. Three different dishes and all of them were delicious. Generous portions, service very hard and friendly. Petzkuchen for dessert was great. It hardly exists anywhere.

Has often been in the linden tree. The service was better. You get something to drink and that was it .... I ordered a schnitzel that was not well made, after the first reluctant bite I went back and asked for a replacement schnitzel, which was taken up unintelligibly and reluctantly taken back , after that three quarters of an hour nothing, no excuse nothing. Everyone else at the table ate. I satiated my hunger with the side salad. Was of course super pissed and gave my opinion on what I was insulted as a guest. In the end, the waitress at our host didn't apologize to me, she probably wanted to save the tip. I will learn my lesson from it and no longer go there. The guest is always king and is treated that way in a good restaurant.

Food was delicious and the service was very friendly. The children's chair and paint things for the children were made available without being asked. Only the premises could be a little more comfortable.

Still: Good home cooking, solid performance with great service at reasonable price. Always worth a visit. In the summer with beer garden under the lime tree also for cyclists / hikers interesting.

Food from a very good kitchen. It is worth it .. The ambience inside is a bit uncomfortable because of the high ceilings and the volume. Outside you can sit fantastically without traffic. Great 👍👍

Schnitzel and Steak are superb

Food is a bit disappointing for a biergarten (oily,salty,ready-mix gravy) but nice lively place, good service, friendly waitress. Best place in the area ( when you r on foot and don't want to eat junk food from the mall next door)
